Mid Atlantic just installed a new roof on our 24 yr old home.  They were very professional, knowledgeable, timely, and reasonably priced. John and his staff replaced my 23 year old  roofing and gutters and I cannot be more pleased with the result. I interviewed four contractors and John's price was equal to one and 50% to 100% lower than the other two. John is very knowledgeable and a certified Certainteed Shinglemaster roofing contractor. He provided me with literature, samples and locations of past installations so we could decide on roofing colors and understand the installation process. He inspected my roof and provided an honest evaluation of its condition (he said there was approximately 3 to 5 years life remaining on my roof). We decided to go with Landmark Pro shingles with a 50 year warranty. The materials were all Certainteed and the installation was beyond what Certainteed required for the 50 year warranty. We also had leaf-free K-Guard 6" gutters installed. The quality of the installation was also excellent. Care was taken to protect plantings around the house and there was no damage. All debris was removed and John took care to use magnets to remove any nails and screws that were left behind. The roof and gutters are beautiful and beyond my expectations. After seeing our roof, four of our neighbors on my street have since replaced there roofs with John as well. You can't go wrong with John and Mid-Atlantic Gutters and Roofing. Mid-Atlantic Gutters and Roofing did a great job replacing my roof and gutters a few weeks ago. I appreciated that they provided a detailed but straightforward estimate, and there were no hidden "extras" or additional charges that would make comparing bids difficult.
